Mission Statement
Voices United provides a welcoming, fun, and high-quality a cappella singing experience. Everything we do is motivated by the love of music, love of others, and love of self. Dedicated to the growth of members and appreciation of the a cappella craft, we encourage collaboration, education, and interaction with all singing communities and our audiences.

Every Voice Matters: Our collective success is built on bringing our full selves to everything we do and contributing to the group in ways that honor each of our
unique gifts and abilities.
Getting Better at Being Better: We strive to continuously improve musically, personally, and organizationally.
Active Inclusion: We welcome all members of the music community, including those who have historically been marginalized and underrepresented, and this attitude is reflected in the ways we speak, interact, and perform.

In an effort to recognize service to the chapter and chorus as well as exemplary leadership and participation, the Southern New England Chapter and Voices United present awards to deserving members at the end of each season.
2024-25 Barbershopper of the Year Award
Greg McCarthy
The Barbershopper of the Year award goes to an individual who has gone above and beyond in service to the chorus, making significant individual contributions to our
collective success.

The Unsung Hero award recipient has done great service to the chorus this year without much public recognition. They have been an example of servant leadership, quietly putting in time and energy to do what needs to be done in service of the community.
